The Mar Vista Community Council (MVCC) represents Mar Vista residents and businesses in all six Mar Vista zones to the Los Angeles City Council in an advisory role. The MVNA is in Zone 4.

A senior lead officer is an officer in charge of a basic car area within a geographic division, and help connect the LAPD with the communities it serves. They monitor their areas’ crime trends, work with Community Police Advisory Boards and act as liaisons with the public.
